No child enjoys single parenting.
Even if the one parent is financially capable,
there'd still be emotional want.
The pain never ends.
Why then does the society decide to add to their pain by rejecting them?
Tagging them as misfits because they had one parent.
Branding them as bastards,
Causing them more pains.
Will the pain ever end?
They have no idea how you cry secretly,
wishing your missing parent returns to you.
How you become silent when your friends talk about their parents.

First years of your life, everyday you prayed,
that your father should return.
He didn't, he hasn't.
He may never return,
And your pain may never end.
Will the pain ever end?
You didn't choose this path for myself,
no one does yet you pay the price,
For something you didn't do.
