Esunsun (edible winged termites)

Esunsun gives me such bittersweet memories of growing up. My sister and I would go to Mr Bigg's because of the bright illumination there with buckets of water to trap the esunsun.
Mom being mom, would sometimes follow us or come looking for us if we've been gone for too long. Salting and drying the esunsun and blowing away the wings is also such a delicate process before you goan add salt enough to cook for your wedding to it🤣😂
