This photo was taken during a tour of the Historic Center of my hometown, Mérida, Yucatán. Returning from one of the oldest churches in the city, known as "La Ermita", I came across this fortunate coincidence: a yellow truck parked just in front of a facade of the same color. So I took the opportunity and this was the result. Unfortunately the house is now painted brown and lost that expressive force that gave it the yellow color ... and as a curious fact every time I pass by there I see the yellow truck parked in the surroundings.
The picture was taken with the camera of my cell phone, a Huawei Nova 3.
Esta fue tomada durante un recorrido por el Centro Histórico de mi ciudad natal, Mérida, Yucatán. Regresando de una de las iglesias más antiguas de la ciudad, conocida como "La Ermita", me topé con esta afortunada coincidencia: una camioneta amarilla estacionada justo frente a una fachada del mismo color. Así que aproveche la oportunidad y este fue el resultado. Lamentablemente la casa ahora está pintada de café y perdió esa fuerza expresiva que le daba el color amarillo... y como dato curioso cada vez que paso por ahi veo a la camioneta amarilla estacionada en los alrededores.
La fotografía fue tomada con la cámara de mi teléfono celular, un Huawei Nova 3.
Su fachada es hermosa, y me imagino que por dentro es mucho más preciosa. La única vez que estuve en esa parte de la ciudad fue hace unos meses. Ojalá pueda ir otra vez por ahí antes de que termine el año, pues es un bonigo escenario para tomar fotos. ¡Saludos, mi estimado @bonzopoe!
