DIY Shabby Chic Fabric Wallet Tutorial - Easy Sewing Project From Scratch
Hello everyone! My name is Bonita and I'm new here on steemit. This is my first post on steemit. I hope it can be helpful :).
So I want to share a DIY fabric wallet. This tutorial is easy yet challenging enough for those of you who likes sewing project!
So let’s start~
DIY Fabric Wallet Supplies
We will need:
- Fabric (I use cotton, but canvas will be better, use fabric with cute print/pattern :3).
- Zipper (with length more than 8.5 inches)
- Fusible interlining (the thick one, but choose that still has flexibility)
- Scissors
- Needle and threads
- Any fastening you want (optional, I use snap buttons, then accessorize with bow)
- DIY Fabric Wallet Pattern Measurement
- Actually you don’t need pattern for this. Just cut the pieces right away by this measurements below.
For fusible interlining (in inch):
A = 7.5 x 8
B = 7.5 x 2.5
C = 7.5 x 5
D = 7.5 x 3.5
E = 7.5 x 1.75 (cut 3)
For the fabric (in inch):
A = 8.5 x 9 (cut 2. one for outer, and one for lining).
B = 8.5 x 3
C = 8.5 x 5.5
D = 8.5 x 8
E = 8.5 x 4.5 (cut 3)
