Demolition of an industrial chimney

Some time ago, there was a planned destruction of an industrial chimney in our town, they did it with explosive charges. It's interesting to see how this changed the landscape. But have a look for Yourself:

Everything is calm before the big bang. :-) And then....

The beginning of the end...

Now we have free views and a clear sky. The dust cloud completely covered a group of spectators which had positioned themselves on the other side, so, phew, I was in the right spot to take this series of photos.
