Shoprite Nigeria
Lower prices you can trust always!
This is the trademark of the popular shoprite stores where I am this Market Friday.
Shoprite, prides itself as Africa's largest supermarket retailer, selling groceries, toiletries, stationery, children's toys, and other varieties.
Originally a South African store, the company's currently records a whopping 2,689 outlets in 15 countries across Africa and the Indian ocean Islands!
Shoprite has enjoyed some high rankings over the years. Recently, the Deloitte Global Powers of Retail ranked the stores as the 94th biggest retail group in the world in its 2018 report.
These pictures were taken at its Festac branch in Lagos, Nigeria where it operates multiple stores, apart from stores in Abuja (the federal capital), and six other states in the country's different geographical zones.
So, happy Market Friday folks, and thanks for stopping by!
Everything looks so in place and neat on the shelves. It doesn't look quite like the stores I'm used to, but the products are similar. Usually the toys in particular are organized more chaotically because little hands tend to try them out or something. ;)
Yes, I visited early in the day when the shop was not yet very busy. Gradually, later in the day that would begin to happen, lol. Thanks very much for the upvote.
