Сars lights on the Neva river after sunset
Once I told how, during a trip to St. Petersburg, I went to take pictures of the sunset near the Peter and Paul Fortress.
When the sun had already disappeared beyond the horizon, I went home along the Neva embankment.
Approaching the Summer Garden, I decided that lighting conditions can already allow to take a picture with a long exposure.
After all, on the embankment of the Neva is very beautiful. Along the embankment there are houses - palaces that were built hundreds of years ago. In the background is the Summer Garden of the Russian emperors. And if you try to decorate this view with headlights from passing cars, you can get even more interesting look.
I did not have a tripod with me so I placed the camera on the granite enclosure of the embankment.

I’ve always wanted to try a long exposure shot like this. I have taken night time long exposures before but never of a street. Nice picture thanks for sharing :)

You just need to close aperture maximum as you can and use a minimal ISO.
Can you mention details such as exposure time, shutter speed etc. And time of the day maybe?

I used an aperture priority mode and f/9 aperture. Not sure what was the shutterspeed. It was an evening. Just after the sunset.
