I Earned $300 in 30 Minutes Thanks to YouTube and Some Perseverance!

I was on vacation for the last week and a half, but during my time away from it all, I got an email from someone who had seen my YouTube videos where I teach college students how to get through a class they need to pass to earn their Bachelor's degree in business. For the longest time, I would offer my assistance via email on how to do better in the program, but after 4 years of refusing to do a Zoom call, I finally said "Yes." Here's the journey:

I took a class on a capitalism simulator 4 years ago. I did really well. I ranked in the top 1% around the world. When I had to work on a team, I told the team to let me do all the decisions, but I would not leave them in the dark. I told them to watch my YouTube videos where I explained everything I was doing. There are 8 rounds in the simulator, so I made 16 videos-1 for each decision making round and 1 for analyzing the results after the round was over. Those videos have now been seen hundreds of thousands of times and I have helped hundreds of people for free, as they've sent me emails asking me for help.

Last year in December, I had on my website, http://www.WatchBobOnYouTube.com a place for people to donate to me via PayPal. I had it where people could donate $1, $2, $5, or $10. Rarely would anyone send me money for me helping them out. In December, I changed the amounts. I added a 0. $10, $20, $50, and $100. I started putting a "ps" at the end of my emails saying that "most people donate $50 after I help them." All of a sudden, I made $1000 in one month. Many have asked me for my rate for a zoom call. I kept turning it down. Finally, last month, I said, "If you really want to do a Zoom call with me, it'll be $250." The lady did not take me up on it, but a couple weeks ago, someone asked and I said, "I told this other lady I'd do it for $250, so I'll do it for you for $250." I met with him the very next day. 30 minutes of talking later and I get a $300 deposit into my account... Cha-Ching! Best money I've ever made...all because I did my home work and for years kept helping people for free.

The point of my story
I didn't have to help anyone, but instead, because I knew how hard it was to do that class, I did. I am now an expert in the class and can offer extremely niche, but very valuable advice. You never know how "Karma" will bless you when you just give...kinda like SteemIt...just give great content and others will shower you with cryptocurrency.
