The First Manned Mission To Venus.

History is full of examples, of where cultural differences, and assumptions, based on known phenomena, have created, awkward, first contact situations. The first manned mission to Venus was so profound in this, that the ongoing Anthropological debates over this, replaced the Mead/Freeman required reading, at universities around the non-freedom hating, countries of the world.

So, what exactly happened?

4/20/2050: NASA launches its first manned mission to Venus. The cabin crew report a safe landing, they then head off on their first exploratory mission of the surrounding terrain. Never to be heard from again.

4/20/2051: NASA launched its rescue mission. The cabin crew report a safe landing, they then head off on their first reconnaissance mission to locate the previous crew. Never to be heard from again.

05/01/2051: Donald Trump III has heart attack and dies at a conference at Bohemian Grove. This instance being the first scandal for Bayer/Monsanto brand clones, forced a review of the "White Male Monsanto Only" policy at NASA, and under the new, Hillary Clinton administration, to commemorate her 103rd birthday, on 10/26/2051, the next rescuce mission was launched by NASA, containing a female crew member (Lt. Debbie Dallas).

What happened next, you'll of course remember from primary school history. The disturbing footage received back by NASA from Lt. Dallas, and telecast to the world, shocked that world.

Unfortunately, the craft required 3 occupants to fly it back to earth and so Lt Dallas was marooned there.

The newly resurrected, fourth evolution of the European Collective's, space agency, seized this opportunity to launch its all female crew, rescue mission.

Unfortunately, due to the suppression of gender identification issues during the Rockefeller Emperorship, it was not know to the agency, that all 3 female crew members were lesbians.

This mission was never heard from again.

It wasn't until 2060, during Germany's 3rd growth phase, under Chancellor Adolf Rotschild, when its new expanded borders included the previous Island State of England, that the all gay male crew, rescue mission was launched, and diplomatic relations, and fashion contracts with Calvin Klein, brought Venus culture into the Terran spotlight.
