Saturday Roast Lamb for Supper

It's been really busy in the MJ household lately, but his afternoon was a free one for me. Mrs MJ was working, so I was in charge of dinner. By popular demand, a roast lamb was to be the meal.... I'm not all that clued up, but gave it a go anyway.

Roast lamb with rosemary, garlic and herb. Steamed corn on the cob, roasted potatoes and butternut squash, and steamed cauliflower and broccoli in cheese sauce. It came out really, really well.

It went down perfectly, accompanied with a nice little bottle of Chianti.

We're out and about with basketball early in the morning, so it was very nice to be able to sit down to a good hearty meal in between the business of life.

Well fed and happy; a great way to end a day.
