Colorchellenge: MondayRed - Red hot chillies

These little firebreathers sit just outside my front door. We wanted to get a chilli plant to give us chillies for our curry. They start off green and then turn a purple-black color, which gives you the impression they are rotting. Then, after a few more days they change again and become this fiery glowing red. Just a scrape of it on your tongue sends you running for the fire extinguisher. I just can't remember their name.. maybe that's a side affect of consuming them...we sure don't need to put much or them in to make a good strong curry.
