Another Dose of Silver For Me
When the Perth Mint releases a limited edition bullion coin, they sell out really fast, and if you're not keeping track of when they come out, you'll likely miss out. I've missed out on quite a few, and ummed and arred about some, before missing out on them too. This time, I struck as soon as they came out, even if it was to just get one of each...
So here are my latest limited mintage pickups form the Perth Mint, arriving fresh from the mint this morning
Double Dragon 2019
Isn't this one a beauty!!
Double Dragon just happens to also be my favourite old school arcade game... aah the memories! When I saw this one come out, and with only a 50000 mintage, I knew it would be sold out pretty quickly. So I got one.. Happy days!! It will go nicely with my Dragon and Tiger coin..
Bird Of Paradise 2019
This is my first Bird of Paradise coin, and it is also a 50000 mintage release, which will allow these to appreciate in value. I'll have to scout around and see if I can pick up a 2018 Bird of Paradise, to catch up on this new series.
Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked with these two coins which arrived for me today. Slowly but surely my silver stack grows.... Now if only I could stop buying silver, and save up long enough to buy some gold!!

1kg Is a big chunk of shiny. I love my 2oz koalas. They've got a good weighty feel to them in your hands. I reckon my next step may be the 10oz kookaburra, or a 5oz when they come out with something other than that ugly pig coin. I'm not a fan of that one.
Yep, really love the feel of those 2oz coins. I have a few 1kg bars currently but want that coin...Must...have...it! 😂

The 2018 bird of paradise is growing on me a but, now that I have a 2019. I initially didn't like the flappy wings picture of the 2018, but silver is silver... I guess 🤔
