Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!

@silverd510 made me buy a couple of these beautiful Korean Tigers today, thanks buddy! He's having a raffle right now for one of these if you want to try your luck at winning one. I personally couldn't wait and really don't have much faith in my luck so I just bought mine. So impatient the Bandit is!

I thought that I would take a few pics of it outside before I lock him up in his cage.

Here's an interesting fact for you, there's actually no such thing as a Korean tiger. Although the Tiger is a symbol or symbolic in Korea just as the American bald eagle is symbolic to America. But technically there is no species labeled as a Korean tiger, the tiger depicted on this medal is actually a Siberian tiger.

On the obverse side of the medal you have the tiger next to some bamboo bushes, the date, the weight and the words Korean Tiger at the bottom.

On the reverse side there's an outline of the Korean peninsula and it's actually assembled from letters and symbols of the Korean alphabet. You have the national emblem to the left and a latent security feature to the right. It has Republic of Korea at the top and the purity 999 fine silver at the bottom.

The security feature on the reverse is actually pretty cool. I zoomed in to show you that if you look closely, you can see 999 faintly in the feature.

I'm very pleased with these medals and wish that I would have went ahead and bought more. There's a limited mintage of only 30,000 so these may possibly go up in value in the future.
