Are you using your time correctly? Here are some tips to lead a more organized life.
Time is something that we all have more, but not all of us know how to manage it correctly. The Bible teaches us about time and tells us "That there is time to stop everything". This means that everything during the day has an order and everything we cook or do has to be done during a period of time. The truth of all is that most young people have not learned to value time.
God gives us 24 hours in a day and if we kept a relationship or a log of what we remember in the 24 hours that God gives us we would realize that most of the time is misused. I live a life in which time is vital and something that made me value my time more was when a very successful person told me that time is money and in truth if we valued it, our time would be spent in a wiser way. That is what we have to understand about time in order to manage it better.
1. God gives you the time to prosper. God's plan is that everything He has given you is a blessing and that you understand that you are already blessed when He lived in your heart. (Ephesians 1: 3) He blessed us with every spiritual blessing. The problem is that there are people who do not see time as a blessing but as a burden. We think that life is very boring and that the days are long and slow. The reason why this happens is because you have not found a balance in your time.
2. God gives you the time to enjoy it and take advantage of it in the best way. The saddest thing is to see young people who spend all day wasting time instead of dedicating it to profitable things. It is necessary to have time of recreation and time to clear the mind but everything under control. It is not bad to have a break time. The bad thing is when we live a recreational life that leads us to not being able to manage time in a wise way.
3. Time is one of the best assets you can have. One of the most important properties we have is time. If you manage it correctly and you program properly you will become a successful person. There is no day that passes that is not planned. Begin to organize your time and you will see how everything in life waxes better and you thrive in everything you aces.
4. No one can manage your time better than you. It is not the responsibility of your parents or your teachers to tell you what to do during the day. You have to take control of everything. God gives you the ability to make wise decisions that will help you manage your time. You have to set daily goals and plan your time in a way that everything you intend to do is achieved. If something you started could not finish on the planned day be flexible and finish it the next day.
5. God is a God of the present time. You have to realize that God wants to be part of everything you aces. He is every day in everything and everyone. Every day we have to dedicate our day and time to God. Believe me that when you let God take control of your time everything goes better. Commit your day and your plans to God and you will see how everything prospers. We have to plan time in our life where we read the Bible and talk with it. Let God be part of your daily time.
6. There are methods and resources that you can use to learn how to manage your time. If you feel you are not managing your time correctly, learn to do it. There are many organizations that teach on this topic and courses that you can take. There are several pages on the internet and computer programs that will help you use your time correctly. I particularly use the Outlook program that is found on most computers.
7. A person who does not manage his time wisely is a person without vision. If you do not learn to plan and manage your time your goals will be harder to reach. A person who handles his time correctly is a person who has a correct perspective of his life. A person who sets goals and cares about fulfilling them is a person who has vision. Do not live blind without knowing what you are going to do every day.
8. Find an agenda and use it. You have to look for an agenda either paper or electronic and you have to use it. Put everything you are going to do during the day. Both the time you will spend at school or at work, the time you will be at the gym or play your favorite sport. You have to put on your agenda everything that happens in your life until the time of recreation. How much your aces this you will realize that your day will be better and that you will become a successful person.
9. Do the most important thing before the least important. Everything has a level of importance. There are things that are more important than others. Only you can determine what is important and what is not. The problem is that we spend more time on what is not important and what is important we leave for another day. Do not be like those who waste time on things that are not worth it. We have to focus on what is important and work on this as a priority of the day.
10. Be punctual. One of the biggest myths we have in Latin America is that Latinos are unpunctual. You have the responsibility to change this. It can not be possible that the fame we carry is unpunctuality. You have to be first in everything and this includes punctuality. There is no Latin time. There is only one time and it is the one that we have to live correctly. That people know you as someone punctual.
11. Misuse of time is abuse of: TV, Video Games, Many Movies, Phone, Chat, Internet. How much time are you spending on these issues instead of using your time for the things that will prosper you. It is sad to know that the majority of young people waste time in the mentioned. Time is something we can not recover. Stop throwing it and focus on what will last forever.
12. Do not abuse your time. I know people who are so busy that they do not have time to relax and to relax. We can not go to the extreme of becoming a slave to the agenda. Everything moderate is better, we should not abuse our time in this way that we do not even have time to sleep.
This is very educative. The book of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes are gilled with wisdom. There is time for everything indeed.
