ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: A National Security Threat & Demographic Time Bomb

Illegal immigration, contrary to what "progressive" talking heads will tell you, occupies one of the top rungs on the list of global national security threats.

What happened in Europe last summer is a harsh reminder of things to come, unless the whole approach to such population movements changes in the direction of border protection and serious deterrence.

German chancellor Angela Merkel has won her place in history as the mad woman who triggered an unprecedented invasion of Europe by Moslem illegal immigrants and refugees. Her "humanitarianism" has backfired: one after another, European countries shut their borders, disobeyed Merkel's direct orders to comply with re-settling the throngs, and her own German electorate is expected to boot her out next year.

The European Union, Germany's fiefdom, has been destabilized by Merkelism to the point of cracking and is not expected to recover unless a miracle occurs.

Illegal immigration in the 21st century

Illegal (and NOT 'irregular') immigration in the 21st century is the mass movement of Third World undocumented populations in the direction of Europe and the United States. The pressure is such that even Russia, a country not exactly on the list of desirable destinations maintained by illegal immigrants, is experiencing light pressure (which she treats with traditional Russian 'efficiency'). Illegal immigration has spawned extensive organized smuggling networks. Smugglers push masses of humanity across borders and open seas and make billions in the process. Turkey, a country that has perfected human smuggling to the level of fine art and political assault strategy, benefits handsomely from the harmonious relationship between smugglers and government officials.

Illegal immigration as a weapon in global politics

Turkey has been successfully blackmailing Europe since last summer by threatening to unleash waves of Moslem illegals across the non-existent European Union external borders--and, in the process, endangering Merkel's political future. George Soros, the billionaire global destabilizer par excellence, uses his billions to establish illegal immigration as the "New Normal" in international relations. Failed states in Asia and Africa, the main suppliers of illegal human waves, play it tough in the grotesque "diplomacy" of trying to extract booty from target countries via false promises of policing those trying to abscond. Illegal immigrants form a formidable storm troop in the calculations of "progressive" Western politicians thirsting for voters. Hillary Clinton is already engaging illegal immigrants in her campaign to bring out the Hispanic voter in an effort to sink Donald Trump.

Illegal immigration and the Left are amicable brothers

"Humanitarianism" at the expense of host societies is an established strategy of left-leaning political forces everywhere in the Western world. In Europe, this alliance has already fractured the Scandinavian countries; has helped establish dangerous "inclusionism" in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands; has undermined the UK in non-reversible ways; and has put enormous pressures upon the countries of the southern rim, with Greece already on the verge of becoming a failed state by the combination of brutal EU sovereign debt punishment and turning the country into a holding pen for unwanted Middle East illegals.

Illegal immigration cannot be "managed" with velvet gloves

Australia has been enforcing a take-no-prisoners illegal immigration strategy since 2001. The core of this strategy is denial of settlement in Australia of all who attempt to enter the country illegally. Illegal arrivals caught in the high seas are detained on remote islands and are given no alternatives other than returning to their own countries. Australia, as expected, is harshly criticized by "humanitarians" the world over but remains unmoved. Unless similar "mindsets" emerge in Europe and the United States, the crisis will continue to expand. Australia, of course, enjoys the protection of a vast ocean surrounding it. But Europe and the United States can learn and benefit from the Australian "You Will Not Enter" approach. A good beginning is to defeat the myth that land borders cannot be controlled. Controlling the border will traumatize the "humanitarians," no doubt, but their discomfort is a small price to pay.

Illegal immigration and global "unconventional" threats go together

Belatedly, the European police agency, EUROPOL, is sending its officers into illegal immigrant holding pens in Greece to search for jihadists hiding among the "legitimate" illegals. Estimates of how many Moslem terrorists are already inside Europe via the wave of "Merkel Moslems" vary from a few hundred to several thousand. European security services are often hamstrung by "constitutional" prohibitions. In France, for example, it is not permitted to collect information about religion and ethnicity of those subject to registration. Belgium is notorious of having lost track, literally, of thousands of African "irregulars," who have now joined the teeming no-go areas of Moslem neighborhoods in Belgian cities. The recent Moslem terror outrages in both of these countries brought into prominence the support and succor the killers received from their brethren--who would not of course help the authorities in any way.

Illegal immigration is a crime

I know that reminding the world illegal immigration is still a crime makes "progressives" and "humanitarians" raise their hackles, but, unfortunately, illegal immigration is indeed crime in every country that's worth defending. Open door advocates tear their robes over "criminalizing" the behavior of destitute desperate people but this is a convenient simplification. Illegal immigrants come in all shapes and sizes--and that pool includes significant numbers of people whose only natural adobe is prison or worse. Instead, these people end up in the streets and never forget their ways of crime and violence.

Illegal immigration is a demographic time bomb

Yes, opening the doors to millions who practice baby making as a daily pastime is a definite threat to existing Western societies. Europe, aging and well fed, has forgotten that family is one of the strongest pillars of civilization and of defending indigenous culture. Boosting indigenous demography is a tortuous long-term effort--and "modernity," along with "liberation," fatally undermine any effort to re-establish the family as a cornerstone. Meantime, the newcomers have no such inhibitions and time is on their side. Merkel Moslems brought into Germany hundreds of thousands of families averaging four children. Do the math and shiver. "Eurabia" is no joke and, certainly, no empty "neologism."

Act now, explain later

Australia's hard knuckle approach is a good model to adopt as a framework for action. Deportation is no sin. Registering all who can be registered under "illegal immigration" is no Nazi recreation. Collecting detailed profiles on religion and ethnicity become a must in the era of Islamism and the war of the imams upon the West. And sounding "shrill," "racist," "bigoted," etc. is a joke when one reviews the facts.

Self-delusion as policy has always led to calamity.
