Kitten Coffee Garden 小貓花園咖啡 Review
There's a few pet cafes in Taipei, but not many that have both cats and dogs. At Kitten Coffee Garden 小貓花園咖啡, they mostly have cats and 2 very CHILL dogs. Personally, I'm more of a dog person. Kitten Coffee Garden has both cats and dogs, it worked out.
As for dog cafes in Taipei, there aren't many. I've been to a few places that have at least 1 dog, but not like a dog pack.
Fees:
There's no fee for admission, but there is a minimum purchase fee of NT$140. That minimum is really easy to meet because all drinks start at NT$140 and then go up in price from there.
Additionally, you can purchase food for the animals. As soon as the animal here's that food wrapper, they'll come up to you.
The Animals:
All the animals were very relaxed. When people would enter or leave, none of them would be too excited and run up to the new people or even be defensive. All the animals were relaxed, but not too friendly unless you have food. They know how to work the system.
This Taipei Pet Cafe, Kitten Coffee Garden 小貓花園咖啡 is located RIGHT next to the Zhishan MRT station for easy access anywhere in Taipei. If you're looking for a place to hang out in Taipei, this is a pretty good one!

Money In Taiwan
Tax Is Included In The Price
All displayed prices in Taiwan are the actual price. Tax is already included and for large purchases, tourists visiting Taiwan can get a 5% Taiwan VAT refund at the airport Tax Refund counter. Some shops offer this service too, but they will require your passport.
Taiwan Is Cash Only (For Most Small Shops)
The primary payment method for all transactions in Taiwan is cash. It's very rare for small shops to take anything other than cash. It's more common to see places accept the Taipei Metro Card as payment rather a credit card.
Supermarkets and convenience stores in Taiwan (7-Eleven, Family Mart) do not accept credit cards (at least not American credit cards). You can only make purchases by cash or by using your pre-loaded funds on your EasyCard.
Using Credit Cards in Taiwan
If you want to use your credit card in Taiwan, make sure to check if a restaurant in Taiwan accepts credit card in advance. When a place does accept credit card, it will typically be Visa or Mastercard. It's extremely rare for a place to accept Discover and American Express. UberEats, HonestBee, Deliveroo and FoodPanda are Taipei Food Delivery Services where you can order food directly to your airbnb or hotel using a credit card.Exchanging Money in Taiwan
