I got a foot massage at 足強足體養生館開封店대만 시먼 마사지 (No English name so this is what comes up on Google Maps). This one I really liked. It was very clean and all the TV's actually worked.
Like most foot massage places, they massage everything from the knee down. So you'll need to have shorts on or be able to roll your pants up high. If not, they have loaner shorts available.
Foot massage in Taiwan can be pretty painful if you've never experienced it before. I've done it several times and it's still painful. I make it a personal goal to try and take the pain.
It's pretty common for the foot masseuse to ask if it's too strong or not strong enough. They always start on the stronger side, assuming it's not your first time doing a foot massage.
I keep the pain level high because I know when I leave the results will be more effective. It's not an advertisement for any particular place, just know that when you get a good foot massage in Taipei, you're feet will feel refreshed from walking all day.

As for 足強足體養生館開封店대만 시먼 마사지, I really enjoyed the clean facility, working televisions, free wi-fi and the great work they do massaging my feet. Weird to say, but that's how it works.
If you've never been to a foot massage in Taipei before, the "40-minute" massage is only 30-minutes. The first 10-minutes is for soaking your feet in HOT water. I guess this relaxes the muscles so they can really dig in. Then the next 30-minutes is the actual massage. The entire experience is 40-minutes.

Taiwan Is Cash Only (For Most Small Shops)
The primary payment method for all transactions in Taiwan is cash. It's very rare for small shops to take anything other than cash. It's more common to see places accept the Taipei Metro Card as payment rather a credit card.
Supermarkets and convenience stores in Taiwan (7-Eleven, Family Mart) do not accept credit cards (at least not American credit cards). You can only make purchases by cash or by using your pre-loaded funds on your EasyCard.
Using Credit Cards in Taiwan
If you want to use your credit card in Taiwan, make sure to check if a restaurant in Taiwan accepts credit card in advance. When a place does accept credit card, it will typically be Visa or Mastercard. It's extremely rare for a place to accept Discover and American Express. UberEats, HonestBee, Deliveroo and FoodPanda are Taipei Food Delivery Services where you can order food directly to your airbnb or hotel using a credit card.Exchanging Money in Taiwan
