2017, 2018 and the Future
I spent the year 2017 living from being broke to being shattered until steemit intervened even in the smallest way. Just like you, I moved out of 2017, but with unmeasured joy despite my fears of being yet another failure in another year-end.
I have always been scared of the future's holdings and what it has to offer but then, I often failed to hope for the best. With the help of experience, I have come to realize that the more I get scared of the future, the more I get lost in a world of anticipated failure and sadness. I obviously forgot to stay positive like my dad always preached.
For the first time in many years, I said to myself, “2018 has to be great, I have to share testimonies than I have previously!” Gladly, I have grown to let go of that part of me which longs to live in absolute sadness, fearing what tomorrow holds.
Whatever happens, whatever the year in motion has got to offer, we should be ever ready to combat its negative offerings and embrace its positive offerings. We only can hope for the best right now. I pray to walk through 2018 with extreme determination and the zeal to do and get more than I had.
