Basic things you should really consider before buying a mobile phone

We've all been caught in this situation once or twice in our lives; that moment we start dropping queries to search engines about what to consider and what not to, reading through every possible blog we see and noting all pros and cons we come across.

In the blog post, I will list some key features that one must really consider before buying a smartphone exempting the flashy looks, well packaged and enticing detailing.

Away from that, let's get to know what to really consider;

Battery Optimization

Yea, this is the first feature most people normally consider because that's like everyone's fantasy, to have that ultimate gadget that shames everybody's own when it comes to staying alive, which most companies have gained an A+ in misleading most with their mouthwatering battery capacity (milliamp Hour).

I've come in contact with people who complain about their gadgets going off before the mentioned time usage by the company, what we must try to understand here is that the capacity doesn't matter but the battery optimization.

For androids, it all started from android 6.0 when google deployed the software called DOZE, which limits the functions of apps on background since most people find it annoying when their mobile phones completely kill an app, the smarter and better the DOZE mode in any phone is, the better the mobile conserves its battery not minding the milliamp Hour (mAh), so instead of asking for the battery capacity, ask for how good the mobile phone optimizes battery.

NB: the higher the android version, the better the optimization

Camera

Now here is the most vital part, most ladies just fall for the number in front of the megapixel (MP), trust me she'll buy it if it has 200mp written on it.

What really should be considered here, is the aperture size always after the mp in detailed mobile reviews, the bigger the aperture size, the better the shots produced by the camera gets.

Note: the number after the "F" in the MP section of a detailed review decreases with the aperture size, ie the lower the number, the bigger the aperture size.

RAM

Most times, I've been shamed on a gathering for having a phone with less ram (3gb precisely), and I often just smile and ignore, because most don't really understand how the ram of a mobile phone actually works, sorry to burst your bubble here, I know having a gadget with bigger ram is cool but it's very useless if your processor isn't a good one.

The reason why you were able to buy that sleek looking phone with a large ram is that your processor isn't that good, I'll advise a better processor than a larger ram.

If you're a gamer, the processor of your phone is what you should first consider, I've come across gamers using mobile phones of 6gb ram but the processor isn't that good and they end up lagging, same reason why iPhone beats most androids at gaming.

keep up with blockspill, a list of best mobile processors will be released soon
