@blockcodes Steemit exclusive guide

ITS MY MONEY AND I WANT IT NOW

You have finally done it. You made an excellent post and it just paid out. Sitting on a fat stack of Steem Dollars, you convert to bitcoin and are about to transfer the USD to your bank when you see that bank transfers may take up to 5 business days. Don't want to wait 5 days or longer. Following this simple method you can turn those Steem dollars into cold hard cash in under an hour.

YOU WILL NEED 3 THINGS

  1. Steem Dollars - From your Steemit wallet
  2. Localbitcoins account - sign up takes 30 seconds
  3. Amex Serve or Bluebird card - sign up for Serve or Bluebird free card arrives in the mail.

EASY AS 1,2,3

STEP 1: CONVERT STEEM DOLLARS TO BITCOIN

We will be converting the Steem Dollars to Bitcoin so that we can cash out on LocalBitcoins. To do this we can use either Changelly or @blocktrades service Blocktrades.us. We will demonstrate on using Blocktrades.us.

  2. Click on Sell / Prepaid debit cards / Serve2Serve
  3. Select a user with a green dot (active) and over 100+ trades + 100% feedback reputation and click SELL.
(The users have two numbers next to their name number of trades and feedback reputation. )

  4. Enter the number of bitcoins you are selling and the email address you signed up for AMEX Serve with.

  5. Then click Send Trade Request.
  6. The user will respond, usually within 5-15 min, to confirm they have sent the funds to your Amex Serve card.

STEP 3: GET YOUR CASH

  1. Log on to your Amex Serve or Bluebird account and verify the funds have arrived.

  2. Go to your nearest ATM and withdraw the Cash.
  3. After the Cash is in your hands go on LocalBitcoins and release the Bitcoins in your trade.

That is all there is to it. Now go enjoy that cold hard cash!

This really does work! Thank you so much for this helpful guide. Steem2cash wahoooo!

Wow interesting post. I'll save the link to this page in case I need to do this one day;)

Good post. I didn't know about the serve2serve option.
Since you have a LBC account, you also have an affiliate link. Just scroll to the bottom and look under Services. The Affiliate link is there. You should use that here in your post so you can get a few sats as a result of the business you send their way. Here's mine - https://localbitcoins.com/?ch=lz6
Does converting on Blocktrades provide favorable exchange rates? I've not checked into it yet.

I have recieved very positive feedback on this post from many users, thank you. There has been a lot of users flocking to localbitcoins today selling for serve. If you have trouble finding a seller today they may be out of stock. Just check back in a few hours or the next day and there is always more sellers going up.

Does localbitcoins have a Serve account to act as escrow? Otherwise it might be risky, but if the trader is reputable, it shouldn't be a problem.

Your bitcoins go into a localbitcoins controlled excrow. Only release the Bitcoin from escrow when the cash is in your hands. If there is any issue with the payment you can dispute the transaction and your escrow will be returned to you.

If you ever need help with ANY dispute, I am an expert at resolving them and have worked with LBC admins for several years.

Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying. This will be a great alternative to Coinbase!

very helpful post and well explained! I'm referring back to this in the future for sure, it will really come in very handy :)

And your counter code doesn't work.....stuck at 2....nice try though

Yes, it was wonky, the counter will go live on the next post to avoid multiple edits.

@blockcodes I meant counter!

Umm no it won't, steemit blocks all javascript code, no way to make a working counter!

I stand corrected. Good catch, we are in BETA so we will wait and see.

sorry but I done tried everything....no javascript and 90% of HTML doesn't even work here....kind a sucks!

@venuspcs For some reason @blakemiles84 downvoted you. There was no reason given and the comment wasn't abuse, copyright violation or spam. So I upvoted to fix it. Not upvoting because I agree there, just didn't like the rep damage and hidden comment effect from someone flagging needlessly.

Thanks for this post.

This is a helpful post. Thank you.

Thanks for this great guide! I really hope it works for pounds as well.
