Funny right, you might be thinking "how can a phone be over possessive" lol, yeah I thought so too before seeing the movie. The movie revolves around Phil, who is overly dependent on his phone...well can not say I blame him since he grew up that way. As a child he was always left with a phone, during dinner outing his parents would give him a phone to keep him occupied which in turn makes him happy.

Even when his parents quarrel in his presence, they just give him a phone to distract him...growing up that way he became so dependent on his phone, no friends nor girlfriend just him and his phone. Which however caused him to be too attached to his phone.

But when incidently he damaged his precious phone when he bumped into Kate and in replacement he got a new phone, an interactive interface named Jexi....which was programmed to better the life of it's owner.

Well, at first it felt alright using Jexi until Phil started going out with Kate and Jexi started to "catch" feelings lol, she...gosh not a she, Jexi "the phone" wants to be held with love and even have sex hehehehe....which interestingly it did, lol it was so funny hahahaha. That scene really cracked me up, I was like "what!!!", especially when they did the "plug...unplug...plug...unplug" and it or she or Jexi the phone did the "orgasm" thing....so weird! However, jealousy became the order of the day as she wanted to be in control of Phil's life becoming over possessive and attempting to destroy him if it doesn't get it's way.

Okay, the movie for me was hilarious although not much of a serious movie but it tries to bring to our attention how addicted most people can be with their phones.....excluding themselves from the fun of the outside world like Phil who would just prefer to be in his room with his phone and just scrolling through and through. The story line was fair, the actors performance was great....you get a good laugh there.

At the end of it all, the story is just about a young man whose phone aimed at making his life better, which it did by pushing him out of his comfort zone in making friends and finding love but brought about complications as it began to get attracted to it's owner. A perfect movie to see with friends....for grown ups not advisable for children.
