FAMILY(IRREPLACEABLE)

Hello friends, so i have been up and a little hooked trying on different jobs interview unfortunately no luck yet, still keeping my fingers crossed but went home dissapointed.

On getting home and narrating my ordeal to my family i received a warming hug from my mom, assuring me it was going to be better and i would get a nice job. My dad smiled, my siblings turned the tables around and before i knew it i was already laughing forgetting about my worries.

Family is like a support system, it makes you feel happy when you sad, secured when you feel insecure. No matter how your day went, when you go back to your family everything just melts away. One look at the kids running to welcome you, your spouse giving you a warm hug, your mom setting the table with your favorite meal or you hanging out with your dad just keeps all the worries away and makes you feel special.

Family makes you feel special no matter how small people outside may see you, family covers our weaknesses and takes pride in our success. Interestingly, no matter how much the world is changing or is going to change, family remains the same and very important. Family is always there when no one is willing to stay.

Sometime ago i saw a Bollywood movie titled "English Vinglish", the movie was about a house wife who doesn't understand English. In the family she is always mocked anytime she pronounces an English word. Well at first i thought they were just teasing her but it was bad to the extent that her daughter was ashamed of her mom coming to to school for P.T.A and in many occasions disrespected her because of that. Her husband also did not help matters, so her self esteem began to dwindle. Not because she couldn't speak in English but because her family could not cover her weakness instead they laughed at it.

Although later on, she got to learn how to speak English and her family realized their mistakes. It is very important to note here that our mental health depends on our family. There are cases of men who when things aren't going smoothly at home they tend to mess up at work or women who when their kids are sick can't seem to concentrate either. Reason being that their mental health is not settled at that time.

There was even a case of man sometime ago who was stressed at work and didn't get his peace of mind at home due to issues with his wife. With all that was happening, he couldn't deal with it and attempted suicide. To me, i feel if only he got his peace at his own home, from a supportive and caring wife then he wouldn't have attempted suicide.

The love from family can not be compared. There are also friends turned family, who would love, support, encourage you through all. They would smile with you, dance with you, cry with you and celebrate with you.

Family is where we learnt to walk and speak, learnt about our culture, where we were educated about good and bad. Our family basically shapes our lives as we grow. Family is where we go to when we are happy, sad, sick or hurt. It is where we go to during festive periods to celebrate. Having a family makes you belong somewhere.

If you think family is something to take for granted, then ask someone who doesn't have a family to call his/her own then you would know the importance of family.
