Another Happy Customer!

Melissa has been coming to us for years for her Transformers fix and over time, she’s dabbled in other comics and collectibles. She’s one of my favorites here as she lets me tease her about her collecting habits and we laugh and have fun. Which is why today was a fun day as she finally took home a piece shes been chipping away at for a bit.

She recently put 2 pieces on a layaway plan. The Sideshow Collectibles Skeletor Premium Format which is drop dead gorgeous as far as statues go, and the Hot Toys Hulkbuster Iron Man 1/6 Scale Figure. She brought the Skeletor home a couple of weeks ago. Check out this Skeletor with pics taken directly from Sideshow’s site. How beautiful is this?!?

The Hulkbuster sadly departed our shop today as well as Melissa paid off the last portion owed. It’ll be missed as well but that’s part of this business...parting with awesome shit hurts a tad but I’d go out of business if I kept every cool thing that walked through my door.

Let’s take a look at this amazing piece!!! To say this piece is large is a tremendous understatement. It’s a 1/6 Scale and towers over the other “human” Hot Toys. It’s heavy as hell and takes a bit of work to handle but once in place...sure looks purdy.

It lights up in a ton of places and cones with a gazillion batteries.

You know shit is serious when you toys come with a multi page instruction manual and cleaning cloths.

There are other accessories that we didn’t install or unpack. One being an optional Iron Man torso that fits inside the Hulkbuster.

This piece stands over 21” tall and weighs over 30 lbs. there are over 16 LED lights in various spots like mask and hands. It also features over 30 points of articulation so you can pose this bad boy in various poses so you don’t get bored. Too bad Melissa is going to keep this in the box and use it as an end table for a while. I can see the coffee ring stains already...

The initial retail price on this upon release was $825. Melissa paid $1100 for it and she will be happy to know that it’s gone up significantly since she started the layaway so congrats!!

All in all this was a good day as Melissa treated herself to something truly unique and awesome. We love being able to be a part of that. Thanks Melissa.
