Hot Comic Tip!!!

Today I’m showing you a book that has recently got hot due to a movie...er...cartoon that’s coming out. The cartoon/movie is Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse. I’ll pop the trailer below but I’m thinking it’s combining a ton of the different Spider Characters under one roof. They have already done this in the Comics with Edge of Spider-Verse and Web Warriors but this will be the first time in this medium. Check it out below...

The movie comes out on December 14th and actually looks pretty awesome. I’m digging the animation style and I like a lot of the talent involved so I’m crossing my fingers for it to be killer. Anyway, one of the rumored characters that is supposed to pop up is Spider-Punk! That’s who I’m here to talk to you about today.

What I’m here to tell you about is how to earn money to buy some damn Steem and Power Up your account!!! Spider-Punk first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #10, Volume 3. There were 3 Covers to this book although it seems only 2 are ones that folks are hunting.

This is the main basic cover. If you are able to find this at a shop or convention, chances are it’ll be in the $5 dollar range. They are currently fetching between $20-$25 bucks. Nothing amazing but nothing to scoff at either.

The next cover is the Gabrielle Dell’Otto Variant connecting cover. This is part of several variants in subsequent issues that connect to form an insane image. I’d guess if you were to find this at a shop or con, it’ll probably run ya between $10-$15 bucks from an unknowing store clerk...which is most of them. Currently bringing in about $40-$45.

Finally there is the Animation Variant. I only see a couple sold and they are going $10-$20ish. I’d stay clear of this one unless you could pick it up for like $5-$7 bucks. Seems it’s the least desirable one.

Now I ya e no idea how they will fare long term. I think it’ll probably depend on if the movie is well received. If they do something cool with the character, and how many of these pop up on the market. I just ALWAYS bet on Spidey characters and Amazing Spider-Man is THE flagship title out there and has been for decades. You can’t go wrong if you are scoring em for the prices I’m mentioning.

So go out and hunt my comic padwan’s...score some tasty funny books and flip em for some Steem!!!!
