Wall Smack!

Looks like Bleux wound up in a predicament. I guess he was chasing something and took a wrong turn.

This is just something random I had did a few weeks back for the giggles. I'll show you how I drew this up.

My Layer Layout

• Extra Sketch layer
• Fine Sketch layer
• Color Folder
  • Secondary Color layer (masked to base color)
  • Base/Primary Color
• Background Lineart
• Background Color
• Rough Sketch layer
• Canvas Background layer (neutral color like grey)

• Canvas Prep/Rough Sketch

  Start off with a neutral color canvas background. Then in the rough sketch layer, draw in the rough shapes.

• Fine Sketch

  Then sketch a fine sketch over the roughs in the fine sketch layer.

I temporaily turn on alpha channel for the fine sketch layer and then flood fill the layer with black color.

• Base/Primary Color

  Then in the base color layer, I draw in the primary color.

• Detail Colors

  I add in the other color details in the detail color layer.

• Background

  I add in the background colors in the background color layer.

• Misc. Details/Final Check/Final Result

  Then I whiten the canvas background and check over the drawing for missing details.

And.....done!
