Bleux Chill | And Drawing Tutorial Steps

Bleux just sitting back and relaxing. It's just a random sketch I decided to do today. It was a pretty easy color sketch to do as you will see below.

• Extra Sketch layer
• Fine Sketch layer
• Color Folder
  • Detail Color layer (Mask to the Base/Primary Color layer)
  • Base/Primary Color layer
• Background Folder
  • Fine Sketch layer
  • Detail Color layer
• Rough Sketch layer
• Canvas Background layer (neutral color like grey)

• Canvas Prep/Rough Sketch

  Layers Used:

  Canvas Background layer

  Rough Sketch layer

  Have a neutral colored canvas background and sketch out the rough shapes and pose of the character.

• Fine Sketch

  Layers Used:

  Fine Sketch layer

  Then sketch in a finer sketch over the roughs.

• Base/Primary Color

  Layers Used:

  Fine Sketch layer (Alpha Channel: On)

  Color Folder -> Base/Primary Color layer

  Temporarily turn on alpha channel for the fine sketch layer and blacken the lines. Then turn off the alpha channel afterwards. Then draw in the base color within the sketches.

• Detail Color

  Layers Used:

  Color Folder -> Detail Color layer

  Draw in the detail colors.

• Background/Final Check/Final Result

  Layers Used:

  Background Folder -> Fine Sketch layer

  Background Folder -> Detail Color layer

  (Various layers)

  Sketch in the background sketch, then draw in the color details. Finally, check over the drawing for any errors.

And then that's it!
