Suggestion on some features on Zappl

I have used Zappl twice since inception, the user interface have not been particularly impressive. I feel there are features that need update or improvement.

However this particular feature needs to be fixed as soon as possible. This is the use of the search option on Zappl. When you put in a keyword and you click on search it comes with a hashtag to the keyword without any result.

This is shown below:

This is also the case when you search for a particular user, it adds the # and does not return any search.

My take on this is you should be able to search for a user without the hashtag been added. This is in contrast with an app such as eSteem that gives you the option to search for either a tag or a user. This is shown below:

The screenshot below shows the search for a particular user smyle :

In the screenshot above the I've only typed three letters and the search option is giving me username that starts with smy with the patticular username at the bottom. This gives me the option to choose the particular username from the list.

I am not saying Zappl should copy this directly but they can surely take a cue from this and even come up with an improved interface which will endear the user to make use of the app.
