One of the things that I like is to go for a walk with my daughters, the urbanization where I live has the privilege of beautiful gardens and that is why we like to walk in the afternoons when Kathe does not have violin lessons since we have the afternoon free.

Una de las cosas que me gustan es bajar a caminar con mis hijas, la urbanización donde vivo tiene el privilegio de un jardines hermosos y por eso es que nos gusta caminar en las tardes cuando Kathe no tiene clases de violín ya que tenemos la tarde libre.

On one of those walks I took these flowers, they are called cariaquito. The color is beautiful and when all the plants are full of flowers, the road looks really beautiful.

En una de esas caminatas tomé estas flores, se llaman cariaquito. El colorido es hermoso y cuando todas las plantas están llenas de flores se ve realmente hermoso el camino.

My little daughter likes to grab several of these flowers and disassemble them because she then has many small flowers and puts them on the turtle, although the turtle doesn't like it, she just smells them. This plant has a strong smell, maybe that's why the tortoise doesn't like to eat it.

A mi hija pequeña le gusta agarrar varias flores de estas y las desarma porque luego tiene muchas flores pequeñitas y se las pone a la tortuga, aunque a la tortuga no le gusta, solo las huele. Esta planta tiene un olor fuerte, tal vez sea por eso que a la tortuga no le gusta comérselas.

and although the tortoise does not like the taste, the insects do love it because many butterflies and other insects can be seen on top of these flowers.

y aunque a la tortuga no le gusta el sabor, a los insectos sí les encanta porque pueden observarse muchas mariposas y otros insectos encima de estas flores.
