Amazon is the fourth most valuable public company in the world, after Apple Inc, Alphabet Inc, and Microsoft as of June 30th 2017. It topped from 8th to 4th in just 6 months.
Not only Amazon is the largest online shopping retailer, it is also the largest provider of Cloud Infrastructure Services via the Amazon Web Services (AWS).
AWS has 42% share of the Cloud Market, compared to 15% share of Microsoft Azure and 7% share of Google Cloud. Its no wonder why we say Amazon runs the Internet. If they fails, a large part of the Internet will come to a complete Halt!
Apart from Amazon, Jeff Bezos also owns Blue Origin, a privately funded aerospace manufacturer, and spaceflight services company.
PS : just got a update that Bill gates again races to No 1 and become the world richest man again.
