My Steemit Moonshot: Going to Space

It's probably not out of the realm of possibility that space flight and possibly even lunar landings are within the time-frames of anyone capable of reading this post today.

For some reason, the idea of going to space has long fascinated me but outside of becoming an astronaut with lots of engineering degrees or being a pilot, not much can be done for 99.99% of the population in that regard.

But as we've all been learning from what sort of 'energy generation' is already coming from this Steem platform, the size of the pie is no longer fixed.

At the rate we're going, anyone that's been aboard this train up unto this point has seen some very promising signs. The value we are all sitting on in terms of Steem Power will undoubtedly grow with more users (almost as a necessary function of the platform). When the contraction starts, we'll be able to anticipate in advance with better data on what players in the game are doing. There will be plenty of surprises... but earth shattering crypto-corrections of 60+%? I put odds on that happening in the single digits.

We're whale proof, folks. Captain Ahab would be proud.

So back to my point...

My moonshot goal for my relationship in STEEM: Go. To. Space.

However I get there should be cool. Preferably on some SpaceX/Tesla/Google/Cuisinart contraption. Hopefully with peanuts on board. Extra bonus points if we can build the Battleroom from Ender's Game. If it's not built when I get up there, I'll work on it!

How long will this take? It may never happen, but thinking like that is boring. I would guess within 20 years, some of the early crypto adopters and 'new-old-rich' will be jetting up and down into null g... possibly fighting the buggers... or maybe some new alien that we haven't imagined in our movies will come down and start an intergalactic exchange of cryptos since the only thing they can trust at distance is math.
