I have lost faith in the steemit community ... can you help me regain some momentum?

I feel like things within this platform have shifted. Along with no major upgrades in awhile, i feel like steem it literally lost steam.
Maybe i'm in a funk. Maybe i just need to write more and do more analysis. But discoverer-ability is so hard lately. All these followers and i barely get a few up-votes per post. I kind of don't understand it all. Oh well any advice steemians?

    I hear you bro. It seems like things are at a standstill sometimes here on steemit. I keep reminding myself when times are slow and payouts are low that there's a very real chance that steemit will take off big-time and those who stick around will be f###ing happy they did. Keep the faith - steem on! :)

    I'm sure that there's steemit community in your country. Connect with them. Use the right tag, read the contents on what's on trend, blog what topic is on trend. And the most important thing here is to create a quality post.
