How Did Tesla's Solar Roof Systems Survive Hurricane Season?

Appealing to the collective here since nobody on my FB page knows anybody with a Tesla Solar Roof installed.
If you or somebody you know has a Tesla Solar Roof I would like to know how their system fared through the US hurricane season. Did some stay successfully off grid?
Like to know that myself. Planning on using these when I reroof in a year or two.
Great minds think alike. The early adopters should be looking at a free insurance replacement if the system didn't fair well... Tesla should be filming documentaries on how well their systems held up if better than average. I plan on building new in a year or two and if Tesla's system fared average or better, that seals the deal in their favor for me anyway.
I'm in southern California, so we don't have storms like that. But where I live it gets very windy, so if they fared well in a hurricane, I can feel pretty good about our high wind.
It's a no brainer for me based on a number of pluses. My house gets sun almost the entire day, most of the year.....while I would probably choose to stay grid tied "in case," this would put me completely off grad as I'm also running a well....I'm going to need to reroof in the next few years already, so the timing is perfect...feel like adding these will also drop the heat in the attic and hence the house (we've had a lot of 100+ degree days this summer....and the price apparently isn't much more than regular shingles.
I figure waiting a bit will not only give me more data, but any bugs should get worked out and hopefully the price will drop a little. Win win.
I'm already sold, even in our northern climate, with proper design Alberta gets more sun than almost anywhere on earth. If the sun stops rising we've got bigger problems so why not take advantage?
Exactly right....and if it can simply take the place of my shingles instead of having to do a big array, so much the better.
