Javanese Tradition Of Burying Baby Placenta

in #life7 years ago

This is a photo of the placenta baby of my aunt's child who was born yesterday

Yesterday my aunt gave birth to a daughter, Burying Baby Placenta is a Javanese tradition in Indonesia , This burial process becomes something that is important for some people because Placenta is one of the organs that become "the path of life" when the baby in the womb, even Javanese people consider this placenta as a baby batter (friend / brother baby) who faithfully accompany The baby in the womb until birth.

Once the importance of the role of placenta babies to grow fetal development when in the womb, the Java people do the baby after birth quite well, although the main task is considered completed.

This looks horror because I'm also the first time to see this, it's like doing murder, I'm burying this night because I just got home at night. And I buried it. After buried I had to do one more thing again

I do not call spirits / devils, this is the tradition! I have to put a candle for 35 days but my mother said just put it 2 days , This is so that the placenta and the baby is always given (light).
