These were the words that escaped John at a restaurant's table when he was offered a handful of fortune cookies on a platter to try his luck after his meal. Chuckling, the waitress replied, it's a fun game sir. Give it a try

Unable to reject the request from the laughing face looking down at him, John went ahead to pull forward the tray containing the cookies, pulled out one and found the content. You shall get what you truly deserve soon, John read out loud ending it with a disappointing kind of laughter.

I have managed to live my life up till this very moment with all the misfortune I've been through, said John who immediately looked pale as he spoke. I know not how you've scaled through life, neither am I going to say anything sugarcoated but I'll tell it to you that you're a strong one. Those misfortune you think you have are just in your head and what you need right now is a changed mind towards it all. So, a little faith, a little more push and a sprinkle of positive attitude, you'll lead a less frustrating life, said the waitress smiling.

Surprised at the effect of those words, John felt relieved for the first time in a long time. Like a burden taken off his chest and more surprisingly by a stranger. I'm glad I got to speak to you today, Miss. I've never felt this relieved after speaking with someone in a long while, thanks.
