Delicious Borscht in Russia
I wasn't sure what to think of this bright red soup that can be eaten hot or cold, but after one dish I was hooked. I now firmly LOVE Borscht!
BORSCHT
This beautifully presented bowl you see, I ordered on a cold and rainy day in Saint Petersburg and it was just perfect. The warm red broth comes from beets and the rest of the soup contains some stewed beef and a variety of diced root vegetables.
It was served with some Rye bread, sour cream and shallots.
The only difficulty for me will be now finding a place in Bangkok that makes this delicious treat.
