HTC has started to develop Exodus blockchain smartphone
Taiwanese electronics manufacturer HTC has announced the development of" the first phone with native blockchain support " HTC Exodus. This was reported by the Creator of HTC Vive Phil Chen during the conference Consensus in new York, writes PCMag.
According to Chen, the new device will support "multiple blockchain protocols" such as bitcoin, Ethereum, Lightning Network, and Dfinity.
"The mission of our company is to support the entire blockchain ecosystem, which, in turn, should help the basic protocols to expand the networks of their-oriented nodes," he said.
The device based on the Android operating system will have a pre-installed universal cryptocurrency wallet, as well as a" secure hardware enclave " that provides data security.
"I want to see a world where the end user will really own their data, whether it's browsing history, identification, assets, wallets, emails or messages, without the need to involve Central authorities," Phil Chen said.
The date of release of the new device and its retail price are not yet known, but the manufacturer did not exclude the possibility of payment in cryptocurrency.
We will remind, in March it became known that Huawei is also considering the possibility of creating a smartphone with built-in support for blockchain applications, in particular, crypto-currency wallets.

Good news, thanks.
