ACINQ team advised not to use the bitcoin application Eclair yet
The developers of the French blockchain startup a ACINQ advised the users of the recently released Lightning-wallet Eclair temporarily refrain from using it.
"We made available in the Google Play app Eclair Wallet for the core network and remove the link to the apk-file from our page on GitHub," wrote the developers.
According to them, this decision is due to the accidental deletion of the signature key.
"We have just discovered that we could lose a signature key that would allow us to update this app.
Note: the key was not hacked, just it was accidentally permanently deleted»
The developers assured users that this measure is enforced and also promised to fix the errors soon by releasing a corresponding update for this Android application.
Recall, the release of Lightning-wallet Eclair for the main bitcoin network took place on Wednesday, April 4.
