I am a ......who has high dreams and aspirations, not tied to places and times.

I was born in Bireuen, Aceh more two decades ago when the long-running conflict between Aceh Freedom Movement (GAM) and Republic of Indonesia (RI). Aceh is a province of Indonesia located at the tip of Sumatera island. When I was born, war conflict between GAM-RI has occurred during more 32 years, it begins from DI/TII until GAM in 2004 and thousands of people become victims until 2004, and on that year, Aceh has been hit by the greatest earthquake and tsunami disaster, but a year later in 2005 there was peace deal between GAM and RI in Finland that changed everything after tens of thousands people death. Amnesty International released Time To Face The Past report in April 2013 after the Indonesian government was deemed to have failed its obligations under the 2005 peace agreement. The report warned that new violence would occur if the issue was not resolved Generally, people of Aceh supported GAM when they want to liberate themselves from the government including my family. When I was in elementary school, I've been recruited and trained in weaponry, though I do not know anything because I’m still very young, but when the peace and reconciliation has occurred in Aceh, I focus to continue my studies until I graduated from Humanities Faculty of University of North Sumatera, The best of University In Sumatera, Indonesia.

A little explanation of my biography above just to illustrate how my life was hard during the conflict. Other children's daily play the toys, but our daily life is to see blood, death and corpses, but we are able to complete our studies up to graduate level. Widely in Aceh, a very conservative Islamic religion is more practised. This is different from the moderate application of Islam in most other parts of Indonesia. Cultural differences and the application of Islam between Aceh and many other parts of Indonesia has become the most obvious cause of conflict. In addition, secular policies in the administration of the New Order of President Soeharto (1965-1998) were highly unpopular in Aceh, where many Acehnese figures hated the central New Order government policy of promoting an 'INDONESIAN CULTURE'. Furthermore, the location of Aceh province on the western tip of Indonesia caused widespread sentiments in the province of Aceh that distant leaders in Jakarta did not understand the problems of Aceh and were not sympathetic to the needs of Acehnese people and the different customs of Aceh, especially about Aceh Culture. Culture is one way of life or identity that belongs to a group of people in a certain area and is hereditary. Each place must have an identity to show to other areas about the superiority of the place. With culture, we can recognize or be known by people who are far from where we are. In addition, we can see people's behaviour. Indirectly, culture can influence the behaviour of both cultures from outside and from local itself. Culture can lead us to a better direction, but also to a negative direction. Culture is a feature or identity of a group of people who inhabit a particular region. This culture arises from acts perpetrated by society over and over again to form a habit that eventually becomes a culture of society itself. Indonesian Government does not take the example of other nations and countries in resolving conflicts such as conflicts that occurred in Chechnya, Russia. Hundreds of thousands of people become victims of war from both sides, even when the revolution and the Civil War (from 1917 to 1925) Chechnya getting hotter because the people are divided again into three camps: 1. Nationalists who want Chechnya join the Soviet (Communist). 2. Democratic Nationalists who want to join the people of the mountain and their Western neighbours into a unified state. 3. Radical nationalists oriented only to Islam and eager to combine Chechnya into Turkey. The struggle of the Chechnya people sprang up, for example by the effort of forming an independent, theocratic independence state of Sheikh Uzunkhadzhi, as well as the creation of a more secular state (Repulik Mountaineers in 1918). Both failed, but the other disagreeing Chechnya ultimately decided to devote themselves to the Soviets promising freedom, equality, land, and power. Ethnonationalism is regarded as the best way to deal with all of Chechnya's problems even though it has cultural, ethnic and religious differences. Today, Chechnya is the federal state of Russia without any conflict, war and divisions among others. One word “INDONESIA MUST LEARN TO RUSSIA HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS”

I have great respect for Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as a president who has built communication with GAM after a tsunami in 2004. I took one advice from his biography that is “HOW TO TURN CRISIS INTO OPPORTUNITY”. It’s mean “the Crisis is Tsunami” and “Opportunity is Peace between GAM and RI”. He could change the tsunami crisis become to peace opportunity, but I did not agree for his peace noble because there are many more worthy than him such as Ramzan Kadyrov (President of Chechnya), Mahmoud Abbas (president of the Palestinians) and Vidlamir Putin (Russian President). Generally, Ethnonationalism mean is advocacy of or support for the interests of a particular ethnic group, especially with regard to its national independence or self-determination or self-government. Ethnonationalism is a way to solve some conflicts between two cultures different that was practised by Russian Federation to Chechnya as a united country under Russia. The solution has given to Aceh by the Indonesian Republic in MoU items agreed was not allowed to all deals peace because there are many interventions from Indonesia government to Aceh to make their law as self-government with the local politic party.
