What the new normal may look like ?

Are you already starting to think on what the new normal is going to be like straight after this pandemic blows over ?

Here are just 3 of the things which may be or may not be part of the new normal.

1. People would continue to distant themselves physically from each other and would have a bottle of hand sanitize as part of their daily essential.

I do think we would start seeing fancy innovations of hand sanitizers which could be with belt straps sanitisers for men, extra small ones for ladies and even cartoon designed ones for the kids to bring to school.

2. Overseas Business Trips and Travel would not be a priority

With companies seeing how much time and expenses they are able to save just by having everything done thru conference calls. They would tend to place business trips and travels as a secondary decision and would question the need for it.

This would make a huge impact on airlines as majority of revenue for none budget airlines comes from business class & first class.

Yes .. there would still be holiday makers and it would fill up the flights however it would still not make up for the lost of revenue of these premium seats. UNLESS we all go back to the stone age and prices of flights for economy is increased by 300%

This would also effect 4 & 5 star city business hotels as their occupancy rates would drop down significantly and we all know where we are going with this.

3. The rise of the virtual interaction

We are already able to see the impact of how everyone is getting on Video conferences and stuff like that. Virtual Reality is in the opportunity of getting BIG .. like insane BIGGG ! Provided more content in these areas starts coming.

At this point of time VR has been mainly used for gaming and a few other applications at this point however, these are the best time to go all in for VR applications. Now we just need someone to create a VR interaction device so simple and cheap to use and you will get mass addoption.

4. eWallets 2020

Adoption of eWallets would be even more rapid as banks around the globe would quickly take advantage of this. Unlike many modern cities, there is a huge population out there which is still unbanked.

This would be an opportunity for eWallets and by using the fear of "paper money will spread Covid-19", it would be easier to create an awareness of eWallet system. This is also where the blockchain technology would be able to play a crucial role in this matter.

Every country could adopt its own stable coin and within 5 years says to everyone that fiat notes would not longer be valid.

Some of these "new normal" may already be what you are seeing now, however I'm almost certain that these are just the beginning of a new way of life after covid-19.

Remember that there are a lot of smart people developing new ways to further innovate their idea after having so much time to just distance themselves aways from all the worldly distractions and focus on creating wierd new products/services.
