Past present and future

This week Malaysia starts opening back up its economy by relaxing the rules of the Movement Control Order... Some have started returning back to work and others are still asked to work from home.

There are some who I know have lost their jobs as the companies which they were working for has gone into a financial difficulty and have to downsize dramatically. They are unable to even compensate their employees as without income over the past few months and months to come they would most likely require to close down.

Many has tried to seek opportunity in alternative space such as learning new things online and getting started on their online journey.

But even in the online space, it's a very crowded space and it takes serious efforts and "luck" to actually make some good revenue from it. I guess the only ones who are making a good source of income would be those who is selling the ideas of making tons of money online.

The world of Blockchain seem to be one of the latest trend that people start turning to with the hope of making a fortune, however there are so much scams in this space these new investers gets their hard earned money swiped away from them by these scams which guarantees them crazy returns.

Thus why strong communities which have been seen countless times on Hive and also Steem are crutial in being able to support and help out other community members so that they do not fall victim to scams and also just to be around to have someone to engage with.

I'm extremely grateful specifically to @curie and @teammalaysia and few other communities being part of several communities here on Hive and also Steem as I've not seen the kind of interactions you get here vs any other Blockchain project. Not to be bias to only Hive/Steem. There are also many other platforms out there which has social media elements but without an active community,
