I would not invest all however I would however invest a huge chunk of it into Crypto. I would invest Now! Now! The coins which I would most likely go in would be ..
1. TOP Priority - Steem
Not only my fav Crypto however I am already invested and understands how it works in depth. Its the only blockchain project which I have seen it perform well and have helped many users in their lively hood and also when in time of need we have seen a huge display of communities within the steem blockchain come together to give a helping hand without expecting anything back in return.
2. Eos - just because of project Karma
KARMA is a project which is almost similar to steem however its very focused on charities and helping people. Therefore that's is why I got pretty interested in that project. I would like to be able to empower more people by using the blockchain
3. Agoras - there is a lot of doubts about this project however, checkout http://idni.org to find out more.
4. Btc - so I can buy more of the other coins. And it is the base currency in most exchange
5. Nexo - checkout nexo.io and I'm sure you would be able to figure out why. You literally can be a bank if you leverage on Nexo.
Well.. That is what I would invest in with some extra cash to burn.

I wouldn't invest it in steem where an angry whale can and will swear to kill off plankton because a witness they have beef with resteemed a post about aquaponics and feeding preschoolers organic sustainable food. I have no protection or recourse here against a bully that everyone is too pussy to stand up to bc of the corrupt economics of this illusion. I was going to be a guest on TM discord and discuss my issues with this community but I got flagged by bots and sworn a slow death today after my most well received post.but now I feel like a fool for believing in humanity and have no reason to steem on.

What protection were you seeking ? No one within the community is oblige to protect anyone as its a community. Were you perhaps seeking for sympathy for being down voted by a Whale ?
Like any social based applications there is its good and bad side of it. If you are discouraged and think that steem and every other social media apps out there is "poop" then just don't use it. It really goes the same for any investment.. Do not invest in something which you don't have confidence about.
Your judgement on steem is purely your opinions which you are entitled to. I do not disagree that there are challenges with the current distribution of upvotes and down votes however these take time to be obtimized. Even FB took many years before getting it right. I was a user of FB in its infant stage and it really was terrible. But it's matured a lot since then. Steem is the same.
So having said that, it's your decision to stay and participate in the steem blockchain.
