The Longest Steem Monsters Battle Ever! What's Your Longest?!
I was just battling before bed. It started off normal. I didn't think I was even going to win. Those pesky Naga's and their Warriors. Once they get to a certain level, they are quite deadly!
This battle was between @wynikilotto and myself! The odds did not seem to be in my favour.
Already hitting hard, he smacked my Haunted Spirit up pretty good. Then this happened:
After my skeleton assassin hit him, he was enraged. Great I thought. Now he's going to destroy me with that 5 damage! This was the end of round 1. The next hit was surely going to take out my Haunted Spirit
The beginning of round 2 started good for my. My haunted spider poisoned him. That wasn't going to save my Haunted Spirit, so he's definitely toast.
After he killed my Haunted Spirit, he quickly killed my Skeleton assassin, but not only is he still poisoned, but my priest and haunted spider still haven't gone yet. This could work, but at the same time I just don't know if my priest can hold up!
As soon as Round 3 starts, things seem to turn for the worst. My priest is down to 1 health! If he dies before the crustacean king does, I lose this battle for sure! Everyone takes their turn and the king is down to 2 health and poisoned! The round ends, and I am happy. I will win this and it'll be maybe 5 rounds.
Thank you poison. This was the determining skill when it came to me winning this battle!
Then the unthinkable happened...my Haunted Spider kept missing and the priest was not doing enough damage to counter the heals. Once I noticed this, I had a feeling it was going to go on for a while but not 19 rounds! Yeah that's right, 19 rounds!
7 rounds later I am still missing like crazy. I'm getting closer to defeating him, but it seemed like it was going to go on forever. At this point I am laughing out loud at the situation.
Round 17 and I am still missing a lot but I finally landed a poisoning hit.
Even though it's poisoned, I am still missing a bunch and he still has quite a bit of health! Is the poison not enough?!
Once we got through round 18, he was left with 2 health. So the beginning of round 19 finally finished him off with the poisoning blow! I was laughing pretty hard by this point! I couldn't believe that what I thought would be 4 or 5 rounds turned into 19 rounds because we could barely kill his last ranged, which couldn't attack! The funniest and longest battle ever!

All after I got my Gold I league status and chasing that Diamond! Will I get it? Who knows! Season 1, Gold I in the books, and Season 2, Gold I is locked in, aiming for that Diamond III!
Exactly one minute after I posted this, I went for another battle and won -- and advanced to Diamond III! Now I'm in real trouble, playing against some heavy hitters! I don't think I'll advance to Diamond II without some additional levels! Here's to 10 booster packs incoming for the end of Season 2!
