Couldn't Handle ARK, Back to Fallout!

I was stuck on a broken quest the last time I played so I'm going to give it another go...hopefully it won't be so tedious and I guess if I have to I'll go do some dailies and side missions so I don't get frustrated again! For now let's play some Fallout 76.

I tried to play ARK but it just wasn't happening. This PC of mine is just not enough so I'm going to have to scrap any ARK streaming until I can either get my stream machine going (already have a capture card, just need to buy a new power supply) and a few upgrades for my gaming pc including ram and possibly an SSD. Upgrading the video card seems like something that is not doable without replacing the whole motherboard. Looks like maybe games are my enemy right now between the buggy quests on fallout and an unplayable ARK.

I think it was 3 days before I got this new job that I started a series on ARK progression and I want to try and start that again. With the limitations that Fallout has given me the last couple streams I could use a more decentralized open world so I'm checking out ARK: Survival Evolved today. Skipping the progresion straight to Extinction, which is the final "ARK" which is actually on Earth. I wonder which map is bigger? ARK's Extinction or Fallout 76?

The progression in ARK is unlike any game I've ever played so I'm just taking a casual approach and see where we get. I'll be joining on a friends server (@10ktrickpony) so we'll see where it gets me. Sometimes these games can become more work than play so switching it up is inevitable! Next game in line would have to be Battlefield V but I think I'm going to need to upgrade my PC soon. That may not be feasible so building a new rig is in the foreseeable future.

This new map brings a whole new array of dinosaurs and items and I look forward to checking it out! I would love for this to be the last time I ever have to start a new character on ARK but that seems to be the story with me since I always end up on a private server. Hopefully my PC can handle it but I think an upgrade is due and I may have too fall back to fallout.

When I joined Steemit I made the decision to always Power-Up my earnings. For now, payouts are set to 50/50 but you bet I will convert & Power Up! Besides internal transfers, I have never cashed out and don't plan on it! Power-Up only!
