Game Night - ARK and stuff.

As Winter really sets in I've been getting a little too lazy. I love my winter gaming sessions though. There's just something about sitting warm in my chair while it's super cold outside. Love the gaming sessions but I'm definitely due for some exercise now that the job is slowing down. You can expect me to stream more but I need to not let it distract me from my other posts. Perhaps streaming every day will not work if I want to post other stuff too.

More Distracting with more Distractions than Fallout 76

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Fallout. Love the game and plan on playing more, I am just enjoying being able to play all my games again. Specifically ARK. When it comes to exploration and avoiding death there are distractions everywhere. Wanting to be in a certain area of the map doesn't mean you can, and I got sidetracked quite a few times!

After a 10 hour and 47 minute stream yesterday, I feel like I literally got nothing done, but that's just because it takes time to set up a move across the map with all my dino's. I did tear down my original base and basically turned it into a mobile base on a raft! Loaded my tames inside and just before I took off for the south east side of the map, I spotted an Iguanadon. These guys don't lose stamina when sprinting which makes getting around on the land much easier so I had to tame him before I left.

Traversing the land would have probably proved deadly, so taking the shoreline was the best approach! This move literally took 7 hours to get to the new spot. It would have just been easier to start where I wanted to be but it is what it is.

When I finally got there I ran around to check out where I wanted to build and decided to head into a nearby cave. This cave holds an artifact that you need to start the boss fight, so I grabbed it and started building a new base. I didn't get very far and only got the outer walls. By the time I was done with that, it had been almost 11 hours since I started so I had to call it a night!

The amount of content that is still unseen with this game is insane compared to the amount of time I've already spent on it. You have to craft everything. Every bullet requires crafting the materials to make the bullet! It definitely seems never ending, so I can't say that me getting to a boss fight will happen any time soon, especially when it takes me so long to set up the stream and make a post too!
