Surviving the Wasteland

Definitely loving this game so far! It definitely has the Fallout feel that I wanted, the map is huge and there's plenty of loot! From what I understand, the map is four times larger than Fallout 4's map and you can set up a camp site pretty much anywhere! It gives a true feeling of being a survivalist.

While it is a concept that I certainly wanted to see come to fruition, my experience with online so far was not that great in the sense of teaming. For one, they hid the voice command behind the map and having to press "Z" just to get to the settings menu. By default, your mic is open when you start the game and so are any other noobs that may be in the vault with you. People with high sensitivity mics which created a lot of background noise that I thought was a part of the game at first. (I should have known better)

Then I ran into one of them and ended up teaming up. Boy what a mistake that was. His microphone sensitivity was so high I could hear every button press and every mouse click he made. I'm sure he could have easily remedied that, but I definitely will not be teaming up with that guy again unless he fixes his mic! It was really annoying and I should have dropped from his team. For whatever reason, I just rolled with it.

For now, let's dive back into Fallout 76 with some questing and gathering. I've already made it to level 11 and so far I am satisfied with the game play! More streams to come and definitely more steem monsters but for now, I am focusing on surviving the wasteland til I have to go to work!

When I joined Steemit I made the decision to always Power-Up my earnings. For now, payouts are set to 50/50 but you bet I will convert & Power Up! Besides internal transfers, I have never cashed out and don't plan on it! Power-Up only!
