Crypto Bounty Hunting - Top Tips
Earn money for a few minutes work by becoming a cryptocurrency bounty hunter. Companies planning Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) often set aside a portion of their budgets to pay bounties to people willing to promote their offerings through social media. This can bring good rewards for very little effort if you are a user of Twitter, Facebook, Steemit, Bitcointalk, Wordpress, etc. Some even offer free coins for simply subscribing to a newsletter.
How does it work?
Shares in a bounty pot of coins are allocated depending on how many tweets, likes, etc. a bounty hunter gives promoting their coins. After the ICO these shares are translated into free coins and these are sent out to the hunters.
Top Tips
Search for ICOs offering bounties on Google and pick those you think have promise. Research them as you would an investment. Know the product and market; investigate the team; look at the whitepaper and roadmap.
Check the bounty terms and conditions. I prefer Twitter bounties that pay per retweet and/or comment. Some make you jump through hoops, e.g. posting links to every tweet / post on their BitcoinTalk page or post a certain amount of tweets per week - I avoid these: too much hassle. I choose those that automatically count your tweets and have spreadsheets to check your progress. Check how many coins you are likely to receive and how much these are selling for at ICO. Go with the most profitable.
Select a small amount at a time: if you have too many you will likely forget some and miss out on bounty.
Set time aside each day to re-tweet, etc.
If you have a blog (Steemit, Wordpress, etc.) write an original post about your ICO - these can be very lucrative.
Build a strong following on social media as you get more coins if you have a big following. I use Twitter and follow lots of cryptocurrency accounts. They soon follow you back and build your following.
Don't just sell your coins when you get them. If they have a future you could find yourself with a much higher value if you hold for a while whilst milestones in the company are reached.
Best of luck!
