At last the bees are gone for the soon to come winter, well they are not really gone even though it may appear as such.
Did you know that during the winter bees do not migrate, they do not hibernate and they don't lay eggs and die leaving their offspring to succeed. Bees keep busy in the winter they cluster together,
This helps them keep the hive worm and insures their survival for this cold time of the year.

The picture at the picture at the top of the post is one I took with a Canon T5 and a standard lens, I used a small aperture setting to have a shallow depth of field (blur the background) to have the more focus on the hive.
I've seen a few of these in my lifetime around my homes. I am not a fan of them, but the images are awesome.
I have a grudge against their cousins the wasps but im cool with bees. The reason I got the grudge is because the wasps built a hive on our home and started eating our grapes. I have been at battle with the wasps for a while they are finally gone, unlike the bees they die in the winter, I will plug the hole they used and hang a fake hive, hopefully that will deter them.
Oh, we have had many wasp and hornet clashes. I wish you luck. I'm sorry to hear about that.
