What's new in crypto land
Seems like crypto has been looking a little down lately. Lets take a look at what is to come for crypto land.
The first and most likely the biggest thing to happen to bitcoin in a long time is Bakkt.
On Sept. 6th just 5 days from now Bakkt will be opening up storage for Bitcoin as it gears up for its launch come Sept. 23rd. That is literally just 22 days away from the biggest event we have been waiting for for the last nearly 2 years!
Will it live up to all of the hype and drive bitcoins price into all new highs ?
Telegram might finally release blockchain and crypto. It has been talked about for a while but I haven't seen any real action on this front in a while and though it was a dead project. It will be interesting to see if they finally do.
I have to say though I literally hate Telegram and never use it. The UI and setup is so unfriendly in terms of trying to find information it is annoying.
Samsung Galaxy S10's now support a few stable coins such as TrueUSD and USD Coin USDC.
XRP or Ripple dumps hundreds of millions on to the market. The biggest issue I have with Ripple is it being centralized to one company that holds ALL of the coins and can dump them on the market at will to raise funds. They say it is to raise funds to expand the project but lets be honest when was the last time XRP or Ripple fulfilled any of their promises.
