Nice "reverse thinking" from a chosen $100 price per Steem to find the market cap then! Of course, I don't think anyone here would mind the scenario at all! :)
Well, if you look at how some of the top level altcoins performed in 2017 then $100 or even a $200-$300 Steem isn’t all that hard to imagine.
However, I don’t know that the altcoin market will continue like this. At some point there may be a large altcoin dump that kills off some of the low value ones and hurts some of the better ones, in which point we could very well be looking at a few dollars steem.
It is good that we have positive projections to inspire us and see our future clearly.
