Bitshares
Now that everyone is talking about @steemit ( abandoning centralized social media in droves)
I think its prime time to introduce to a wider audience the concept of @bitshares. They are both built on the same technology @graphene but the big difference is that Bitshares is a trading-platform and not a social platform like Steemit.
I believe the Bitshares platform Open ledger could be the place where Steemians can save their earned profits instead of cashing out to fiat. If you earn crypto currency you should try to hold on to them as much as you can. Cuz its the way of the future!
Try and find merchants that accept crypto or buy things on amazon using Purse just has so much more logic to it. The old banking system compared to decentralized crypto platforms like these is analogous to a donkey and the latest Tesla.

Yeah with the inherent speed of spreading of viruses you might not have to wait to long :) Lets make BitShares as viral as Steemit
